Walmart Technological and Wayfinding Case Study

THE PROBLEM

1. Inefficient in-store navigation and wayfinding systems lead to frustrated customers, decreased sales, and negative shopping experiences.

2. Existing signage and mobile app inadequacies cause consumers to struggle with finding products and departments.

HIGH LEVEL TIMELINE

The Walmart "NaviGuide" project was completed over 16 weeks as part of a student project at UNLV.

MAKE OF THE TEAM

This project was a solo effort, informed by peer feedback, professor guidance, and survey insights.

KEY GOAL

The primary objective was to design an intuitive mobile app, "NaviGuide," to enhance Walmart's in-store shopping experience.
